History of Aatmiya
Aatmiya is an organization under CITTA, a New York based 501(c)3 Non-Profit. Aatmiya is carrying out CITTA's functions in Nepal as a Social Enterprise aiming to contribute in the sector of Women's Economic Development.
The word Aatmiya itself has been derived from a Sanskrit work Atman which means “One’s inner self or Soul” and the word Aatmiya means “Affectionate”. At Aatmiya our projects aims to touch the lives of the people in the community with area specific services.
